Dog training in NYC

Another outstanding training option is the Port Chester Obedience Training Club (PCOTC) if you can get to White Plains.  So cool!  They have classes all day every day, including evenings, M-F.  And on weekends they have competitions, conferences or shows.  They teach basic and advanced behavior, agility, rally, therapy dog preparation, clicker training – the works!  The staff is great.  And the price is very reasonable: $179 for most 7-week classes ($209 for agility).  I took a recent rescue dog for classes and got a $50 rebate.  Volunteers also get rate cuts.  Get there on the MetroNorth train (you can take your dog on the train with the conductor’s permission) or by car.  www.pcotc.org
