9:00. The Macy’s parade is getting in gear 30 blocks south, and we’re winding up our morning walk in Central Park. We are eight dogs and two humans. This is us. We’ve been out more than two hours, throwing ourselves around piles of fragrant dead leaves, chasing balls and one another. This is us.
